This is my current progress on my Imperial Fists for 30k.

Next up in the transfers and weathering. 

I am hoping that this is going to knock back some of their brightness

Musings: Hobby Update

A complete lack of hobby over the last 2 weeks.......

Basically down to 1 thing we were broken into and dealing with the aftermath has taken all my spare time.

However I think in this world it is very easy to mention and riase poor customer service and very rarely does great customer service get raised.

Our insurance company were amazing from start to finish.

If you are looking for home insurance I following recommend Direct Line. They were understanding in a stressful time and supportive. Everything settled and replaced within 8 days.

Next week will get the brushes wet again so that I can try and hit my hobby goals.

Tale of Tau Gamers: WIP Colour Scheme

Evening

I spent some time today working on a test scheme for the Tau Pathfinders. I was trying to get a block camo scheme effect on the model. Overall I am quite happy with the green, however I need to do some more work with the brown as it is still showing far to dark.

I am unsure of the guns, thinking a dark grey with some green accents.

Sept markings will be in red on the armour to contrast against the green.

Let me know what you think and any suggestions that you have.

Top Tips: Swarfega Classic

One of this years hobby projects is my Imperial Fists, this army will have a lot of resin Infantry and vehicles from Forge World and having a long time in the past suffered from the dreaded release agent. I popped down to my local Auto Repair shop and picked up a large tub of Swarfega.
